Growing requirements
Blueberries perform best in a sunny position with well-draining, acidic soil or potting mix. Keep the soil consistently moist while avoiding waterlogging, and use a fertiliser suitable for acid-loving plants.
Blueberry plants can be grown successfully in large pots, making them a practical option for smaller gardens and patios. Planting more than one compatible variety may also help improve pollination and fruit production.
