Silver Dollar eucalyptus is loved for its soft blue-grey foliage and distinctive rounded leaves. Its fresh stems are also popular for floral arrangements and adding texture to cut foliage displays.
Also known as Eucalyptus cinerea or Argyle Apple, this Australian native develops into an attractive feature tree when planted in the ground. Regular pruning can help encourage fresh juvenile foliage and maintain a fuller, more manageable shape.
Growing requirements
Plant outdoors in a sunny position with well-draining soil. Water regularly while the plant is establishing, allowing the soil to drain between watering. If planting in the ground, choose a position with enough room for the tree to develop.
